New self-consumption and zero injection manager SUNVEC Datalogger

Vector Energy presents the new SUNVEC Datalogger, a device for monitoring and managing self-consumption and zero injection of Low and Medium Voltage photovoltaic installations. SUNVEC Datalogger is a highly flexible and adaptable device that allows fluid and efficient communication between photovoltaic inverters and connected devices, regardless of distance or type of measurement.

SUNVEC Datalogger comes in two models for Low Voltage or Medium Voltage installations, and integrates a three-phase network analyzer that monitors voltages and currents at the connection point of the photovoltaic plant and consumption, detects energy discharge and controls the inverters to avoid injection into the grid. Communication with the inverters is done via RS485 or Ethernet, which drastically reduces response time. Furthermore, by always measuring at least the energy exchanged with the electrical grid, the control loop is a closed loop. Device configuration is simple and intuitive, using an integrated web server, and allows alarm and data management through a free web platform.
