New isolated functionality in SUNVEC Hybrid

In the continued move towards more efficient and autonomous power systems, we are pleased to introduce an exciting improvement to our hybrid solar inverters. This innovative functionality allows our inverters to operate completely isolated from the grid, either powered solely by solar panels or using the energy stored in the batteries. Let’s dive into the details of this new feature and understand how it redefines energy independence.

Fully Isolated Operation

The standout feature of our new hybrid solar inverters is their ability to operate completely isolated from the conventional electrical grid. This feature opens up new possibilities for energy autonomy, especially in remote locations or in situations where grid access is limited.

Solar Panels: Inexhaustible Energy

When the system is powered exclusively by solar panels, the inexhaustible energy of the sun is mad ethe most of it. This mode of operation not only ensures a continuous supply of energy, but also reduces dependence on non-renewable energy sources. It is an efficient and sustainable solution for those places where connecting to the grid is a challenge.

Batteries: Energy Storage and Reserve

The ability of our hybrid inverters to run on batteries offers a key solution to overcoming the challenges of solar intermittency. During periods of low solar radiation or during the night, the system can use the energy stored in the batteries, ensuring a constant supply even when solar conditions are not optimal.

Power Reduction in Solar Panels Only Mode

It is crucial to keep in mind that, in the scenario where the system operates only with the solar panels and the batteries are discharged, the nominal output power of the inverters is reduced to 50%.This setting ensures stable and efficient operation of the system even under conditions of lower power availability.

Benefits of the New Functionality:

  • Energy independence: The ability to operate isolated from the grid increases energy independence, providing a robust solution in remote locations or in emergency situations.
  • Efficiency and sustainability: The combination of solar panels and battery storage allows for a constant supply of energy, maximizing efficiency and reducing dependence on non-renewable sources.
  • Adaptability to Various Conditions: The versatility of our hybrid inverters stands out by adapting to various climatic and solar radiation conditions, ensuring a stable supply in any environment.
  • Less Dependence on the Conventional Grid: Reducing dependence on the conventional electrical grid is not only beneficial from an environmental point of view, but can also translate into significant long-term savings.

With this new functionality, our hybrid solar inverters not only offer an efficient energy solution, but also pave the way towards a more sustainable and autonomous future. The ability to operate in isolation, either with solar panels or batteries reflects our continued commitment to innovation in clean and accessible energy. This breakthrough not only redefines energy independence, but also marks a significant step towards more resilient and autonomous energy systems.
